Train-C: Train-related stuff seen from train
Rosemary was impressed by the concept of snow sheds.
They built sheds, like this example, in places
most susceptible to severe drifting.

There were several water towers identical to this along the line.
Some are still in service (daily use), at least one is a
reconstruction/reproduction using original plans & materials.

This fire car followed the train about 1/4 mile behind.
They would put out anything
that might be lit by sparks from the engine.
Forest Service required this as a condition of operation.
